If you want the larger version to have some text comments displayed with it, create a new text file with the same name as the image file, but with a ".txt" extension instead of whatever the image has (e.g. ".jpg"). Most Webservers use case-sensitive filenames, so for example "MyPhoto.txt" would not be seen as going with "myphoto.jpg" because the former had a capital 'M' and 'P'.
You can change the thumbnail size, remove the filename, change the background and font, etc. using the configuration tool which will auto-load the first time you visit your image directory.
